Hi. Hello. Bonjour. Hola.

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Welcome back to inconsistent posting! It’s been a while since I posted here, and I want to change that. I will post more on my blog, and I have a lot of ideas to change this blog theme, my portfolio, and my projects. I’ll tell you some of them.

  1. Blog Theme. I like the blog theme, maybe because it was the first theme I made. One thing that has been on my mind is to create another blog or make a section for this blog. A movie review blog. I go to the movies a bunch, yet whenever someone asks me for recommendations, I go blank. I will have to develop designs and wireframes for this, but that’s what I want to do with the WordPress side of my skills.
  2.  My Portfolio. The one thing that makes me afraid of getting a tattoo is how much I change my portfolio. Right now, I feel like I should change my portfolio’s color theme and how it looks. It’s basic, and I want to add more features and scripts, but I also want to keep it normal, so it doesn’t overwhelm a hiring manager looking for their next co-worker. I want to add my WordPress blog posts to it. My portfolio site takes a while to scroll, and ending it with my blog posts doesn’t feel right. Making a separate page to look at it feels counterintuitive as well. I’ll dwell on that for a little.
  3.  I have been updating my MERN eCommerce side project for a while, and it’s done right now. It looks way better than before, and I wouldn’t mind showing it to you for a job interview. There’s still a lot to perfect, but that’s one thing I need to work on! Stop trying to perfect everything. Instead of working on the Front End, I’ll work on Unit Testing with Jest. I know some jobs that I apply to ask for this, and I want to be able to present this as a great project!

That’s my current mindset. I have a lot of things I want to create and work on. At the same time, juggling the job hunt, applying to jobs daily, and not locking myself in a room. I need to go out there and enjoy it WHILE SAVING MONEY! So yeah, that’s what’s on my mind.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you’re ready for more posts later!
